SCHOLARSHIP INFORMATION

The LCCCF Scholarship Program looks for high achieving students who are the first in their families to go to college and have a financial need. The primary focus of the LCCCF scholarship program areas of study are STEM related and Business and Finance related. Students are funded for four to five years depending on their field study. Student are highly encouraged to participate in honors programs at the institutions they attend.

Selection Criteria
Scholarship Minimum Requirements

  • High school GPA requirement – 3.5 GPA (unweighted).
  • Intend on pursuing a degree in a science, technology, engineering or mathematics (STEM) or in a business and finance related field.
  • First in their family to attend college.
  • Can prove a financial need (typically below or at the poverty level).
  • Shows high interest it attending the honors program at their perspective intuition.
  • Willing to participate in all meetings and two annual Latin Chamber Foundation events.
  • Maintain a 3.2 GPA for ATI scholarship funding (if student falls below GPA requirements they are placed on probation until GPA requirement is meet).  Those students who fall below GPA must enroll in tutoring programs pertaining to their course of study.
  • All student will be required to participate in the Trio and Gear up programs.

Students who are currently attending a public college in Nevada may be selected for scholarship funding if they meet the following requirements:

  • College GPA requirement – 3.2 GPA (unweighted).
  • Are pursuing a degree in a science, technology, engineering or mathematics (STEM) or in a business related field.
  • First in their family to attend college.
